Matt Toll

Co-Founder & CEO

Matt has been involved in the international beef supply chain for 25 years. Matt developed and ran the McDonald’s beef supply chain business (MAC) for almost a decade prior to co-founding Consolidated Food Co. MAC purchased, moved, financed and delivered 10% of McDonald’s global beef requirements under Matt’s care.

Ian Parker

Ian has forty years-experience in the food manufacturing and broader industries, spanning sales, marketing and CEO roles with multinational and various entrepreneurial organisations. Ian spent two years in the US as VP Marketing and Sales with Goodman Fielder prior to embarking on a successful start-up business venture with a subsequent sale to a US based multinational.

Paul Cowper

With sixteen years’ experience in the Accounting and Finance industry both in Australia and the US, Paul Cowper (CA) is the Group CFO and appointed Director of Comgroup Supplies and Markwell Foods. Paul was previously a Director of KPMG Corporate Finance specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions in the Consumer Sector including Food, Retail and Education.

Matt Toll

Co-Founder & CEO

Matt has been involved in the international beef supply chain for 25 years. Matt developed and ran the McDonald’s beef supply chain business (MAC) for almost a decade prior to co-founding Consolidated Food Co. MAC purchased, moved, financed and delivered 10% of McDonald’s global beef requirements under Matt’s care.

Prior to MAC, worked for Columbus Line specialising in beef shipments from Australia to the US, as well as 4 years at Anvic Meat Exports (an Australian beef packer).

Paul Cowper

With sixteen years’ experience in the Accounting and Finance industry both in Australia and the US, Paul Cowper (CA) is appointed Director of Comgroup Supplies and Markwell Foods. Michael Zappa

Supply Chain Manager

Mike comes to Consolidated Food Co. from Cargill Meat Solutions where, previously, he managed numerous beef customers in Northeast US. Prior to that, Mike double majored in Economics and Management at the University of Mount Union, receiving his Bachelor's Degrees' in both fields. Growing up in Central Ohio, Mike raised and competitively showed cattle and hogs through youth agriculture organizations's 4-H and FFA.

Ultimately this led to his passion for the agriculture. Mike attributes his competitiveness to his background in showing livestock as well as athletics. He still enjoys making it back home to visit family and check out local herds whenever he can.  

When it comes to steak, Mike orders strip, medium, seasoned only with garlic, salt, pepper. While the perfect burger consists of an Angus Pattie, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion on a brioche bun.

Gonzalo Riesenkamp

Supply Chain Manager

Gonzalo is a veteran of the meat industry with 20 years experience behind him. After studying Veterinary Science and Agribusiness, Gonzalo has held various positions including Procurement Manager of animal proteins for multi-national food processor, McKey Argentina, in South America as well as Export Manager & Commercial Director of top packers in Argentina and Uruguay including AB&P, Marfrig Argentina, BPU-Solismeat UY. Gonzalo orders his steak medium rare and his burgers juicy with onion, cucumber, tomato and mayo.

Leigh Drake

Chief Operations

Leigh joined Consolidated Food Co in March 2017 as Chief Operations Officer. A Chartered Accountant from UK he has developed a wide range of business skills over a career spanning more than 20 years. With a prior background in science Leigh also brings a logical and thorough approach to ensure the business remains efficient and focussed on delivering customers’ needs. When not working, Leigh’s great passions are traveling and eating. Preferably at the same time.

Tom Redden

Supply Chain

Tom grew up on a cattle and sheep property in Coonabarabran Central West NSW, and relishes getting home when he can. He holds a Bachelor of Agribusiness and is a recipient of the Meat and Livestock Horizon Scholarship. Tom is a keen sportsman and plays rugby and cricket and is a valued part of the supply chain team. Tom's upbringing on a farm along with his love for agriculture are but a few of the reasons Consolidated Food Co. stands apart as a market leader. 

Tom likes his steak medium rare and says the perfect burger consists of an angus pattie, topped with onion, tomato, cheese, grated carrot, lettuce finished with mayonnaise and pesto.
